Huawei’s MateBook X Pro all-screen laptop is launching in the US after all It wasn’t too long ago that I got to work and play on a Windows 10 laptop that looked nothing like other laptops when it comes to one key aspect, the display because of course it looked a lot like Apple’s MacBook Pro and MacBook Air when it comes to overall design. What’s really amazing about the MateBook X Pro is the incredible 3K screen that occupies almost the entire top. That’s because Huawei placed the webcam under a keyboard key to expand the laptops screen size, without increasing its footprint. Facebook shares fell 5% Tuesday on reports that CEO Mark Zuckerberg agreed to testify in front of Congress about the company's data scandal. The crisis began on March 16 after Facebook ( FB ) said it was suspending data analysis company Cambridge Analytica for allegedly harvesting data from more than 50 million Facebook users. Cambridge Analytica worked on Donald Trump's presidential campaign. Since then, Facebook's stock has plunged 18%, wiping out nearly $80 billion from the social networking giant's market value in the process. Zuckerberg's net worth has fallen by about $14 billion (he is still worth $61 billion, though). Tech stocks in general have taken a hit since the Facebook allegations first came to light. Amazon has been awarded a patent that will let its package delivery drones recognize human movement and voice. The online-shopping giant wants to shave delivery times down to just 30 minutes and plans to take to the sky to achieve it. Awarded on Tuesday (March 20), the patent would allow for drones to identify gestures such as a thumbs-up, frantic waving, shaking fists and a shooing motion. Filed in July 2016, the patent also identifies voice recognition as a future control input for strangers. Someone who is bothered by a nearby drone would be able to shout for it to leave. The drones would use a combination of depth, auditory and light sensors along with infrared and visible light cameras.
